As part of a whole house re-modelling project by Gillespie Yunnie Architects, Tandem Studio were tasked with designing and building the fitted wardrobes and building bespoke plywood study furniture.

The wardrobes were all made to measure with the doors all of equal width within the space. An elegant recessed handle detail was machined into the edge of the 25mm thick doors.

The narrow study room has a birch plywood storage and shelving unit running along the length of the room and a lino topped birch plywood desk at each end of the room with a narrower desk section under the shelves. On the wall opposite to the shelving unit there is a bespoke lino pin board- all the lino products we use are by Forbo who manufacture natural coverings for floors, furniture and pinboards.
