Tandem Studio

Tandem Studio were asked by the clients to design four elements of furniture for their new apartment within a new socially and ecologically minded development that was still in the process of being completed. www.vallentin-architektur.de/projekt/stadtnatur .

For their new bathroom we were asked to design a large cupboard, a vanity unit and a large mirror with shelf. The floor to ceiling storage cupboard included a washing machine and dryer, an airing cupboard and general storage. As the lower part of the cabinet needed to be ventilated a slatted design for the doors was used which made the front of the cabinet into a beautiful oak screen. The side panel of the cabinet incorporates a recessed shelving box giving some visual interest to this panel and useful addition storage above the bath.

The vanity unit is from solid oak with a a black Fenix top surface and recessed handles to tie in with the slatted screen.

We can fully recommend Tandem Studio (Jonathan and Simone). In a joint and exciting planning process, we developed a wardrobe, sideboard, lobby furniture, vanity unit for the washbasin and a tricky bathroom cabinet for the washing machine and dryer with Tandem Studio for our new apartment. Your own wishes and ideas are recorded and supplemented with great ideas from Jonathan. In the end you get a custom-made piece of furniture that leaves nothing to be desired. The quality of the materials and the craftsmanship clearly exceeds what you get from other providers and at absolutely reasonable prices.

We received detailed plans for each piece of furniture, where we were able to clarify any questions with Jonathan. The dialogue is fun and the anticipation of installing the furniture increases from day to day. As a result, you can see the enthusiasm and joy of Tandem Studio in their work in every piece of furniture. In addition, the costs are shown transparently. Unfortunately, there is no other corner in our apartment that we can design together with the Tandem Studio.
